About The Event
Join the Aberdeen University Endocrinology Society at our first National Diabetes Conference as we celebrate the centenary of insulin discovery by University of Aberdeen alumnus John Macleod.
The conference will feature talks from leading diabetes clinicians and academics from the UK providing insights into the history, COVID-19, and the latest research. Public figures will also join us to share their stories with type 1 diabetes.
There will be an opportunity to listen to students present their research in Endocrinology through oral presentations and academic posters. Prize money will be awarded to the 1stand 2nd place winners.

This conference offers a rare comprehensive insight into the rapidly growing field of Diabetes. The event is targeted at all healthcare students and junior doctors with an interest in the fields of Endocrinology and Diabetes. However, we welcome anyone with an interest to join us!
We have chosen to partner with Diabetes Scotland due to the great impact they are having on people living with this condition in Scotland. You can find more information about what they do through the link down below. We are very grateful for any donation we can give to this charity.
